Oliver Tuff
Founder
Oliver Tuff is the Founder of Feeding 500. Oliver has lived in New Canaan, CT for 21 years, and was a member of New Canaan High School’s Class of 2023. Oliver began Feeding 500 in 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic and since, has been wholly devoted to serving Fairfield County through organizing youth nonprofit programs. Oliver’s goal for Feeding 500 is to create a self-sustaining network of high schoolers capable of contributing to local shelters and learning leadership skills throughout. His ultimate vision is to reform homeless prevention and emergency housing practices, maximizing their efficiency and effectiveness. Working with Open Doors, he presented his proposals to Connecticut state legislature in the summer of 2022. Oliver now attends Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and consults for multiple nonprofits in the Nashville Metro Area.

Andrew Nolan
Co-Founder
Andrew Nolan was a founding member of the Feeding 500 team. His work played an integral role in Feeding 500’s launch and success within Fairfield County. His efforts in public outreach were key in increasing awareness of Feeding 500 early on and recruiting new members. Aside from his work with Feeding 500, Andrew was a varsity lacrosse and football player for the New Canaan Rams. He now attends Santa Clara University.
Robert Hellmann
Co-Founder
Robert Hellmann is a founding member and a key leader in Feeding 500’s initial operations and expansion. He worked extensively in program expansion to new communities, corporate fundraising, and as an intern at Open Doors. In the summer of 2022, Robbie and Ollie presented potential improvements in homeless and hunger prevention to CT Attorney General William Tong, proposing methods of streamlining aid to the state’s homeless population. Robbie now attends Princeton University.
Jonathan Yoo
Co-Founder
Jonathan Yoo was a founding member of Feeding 500 and served as its Vice President from 2021-2023. Jon was crucial in Feeding 500’s inception, spending the summer of 2020 as an intern at Open Doors creating the conceptual infrastructure for the charity. His efforts in expansion, recruitment, and donor outreach were critical in growing Feeding 500 into the organization it is today. Jon served an active role in dozens of Feeding 500 campaigns, and has continued developing organizations and teams at Clemson University, where he is pursuing a degree in Economics.
